Role of Ethical Sourcing in the Future of Sustainable Fashion:
A Case Study on Active Wear Brands

As part of my coursework, I authored a case study exploring how sustainability is reshaping the athletic wear industry — focusing on Finesse, a fictional activewear brand I created.

In this study, I examined industry shifts, evaluated different sustainable strategies, and outlined recommendations for how brands like Finesse can implement eco-friendly practices to gain a competitive edge. The report highlights how sustainability is no longer just a value-add but a driver of long-term success.

Ultimately, this project serves as a roadmap for emerging activewear brands seeking to build credibility and loyalty in a market that increasingly prioritizes environmental and social responsibility

Influence of Bollywood on the Fashion Industry

This article examines how Bollywood shapes fashion through three key dimensions: the portrayal of clothing and style in films, which sets cultural norms and inspires mass adoption; the role of cinema in introducing globalization and luxury brands to India, transforming consumer aspirations; and the continued influence of film stars as trendsetters whose fashion choices shape markets and identities. It shows that Bollywood is not merely entertainment but a central force in defining, evolving, and globalizing fashion

A Luxury Retail Stock Pitch Competition – Tapestry Inc.

March, 2024

As part of the Isenberg Women in Securities Club, my team and I conducted a comprehensive investment analysis of Tapestry Inc. (NYSE: TPR) for the annual stock pitch competition, earning the runner-up position. Our research explored market expansion opportunities, digital transformation strategies, and in-depth financial valuation, ultimately leading to a BUY recommendation with a 28.8% implied upside.

 

This project strengthened my expertise in analyzing market trends, evaluating competitive positioning, and crafting strategic, data-driven recommendations. Leveraging consumer insights, revenue projections, and digital engagement metrics, I developed actionable strategies for brand positioning and identified key growth opportunities.
